About Alchemy

Alchemy, the miraculous science of inner transformation, is a practice that has been carried out throughout the ages by the ancient Gnostics, the early Christians, and in ancient Egypt. It was also given within the sacred teachings of Hinduism, practiced within eastern tantrism as tanric yoga and pursued by the medievel alchemists longing for the elixir of life. Until recent times, alchemy was concealed within the secret codes and symbolism of these cultures and religions, for example the Christian cross and the Egyptian Ankh depicting the sexual union of man and woman, the caduceus of mercury portraying the path of the sexual energies and the raising of the kundalini, and illustrations of medival alchemists transmuting base metals (dense physical energies) into gold (divine spiritual bodies) to create the Philosopher's Stone. Hidden in secrecy and among a few, alchemy was revealed only within esoteric circles, safe from those that would profane it and demean the sacred path to immortality.

The esoteric symbolism of alchemy portrayed in those ancient times, truly refers to the spiritual work that one initiates using the sexual energies. A work that transforms the heavy dense energies from which an ordinary human being begins and progresses through an amazing internal journey, leading potentially to the enlightenment of the soul.

Sexual energy, being the most powerful and creative energy that exists, from which life is created, has the awesome power that can set us free, liberating us from the chains of the subconscious or it can enslave us locking us within the never ending desires. In normal sex, the sexual energies are used for procreation, however in alchemy, the couple unite using the sexual energy for the creation of internal spiritual bodies. These spiritual bodies have their home in the higher dimensions and once formed become the vehicles of expression for one’s true divine being to manifest and the doorway to objectively awaken true spiritual faculties that are inherent of the consciousness, such as telepathy, intuition, clairvoyance, clairaudience and much more. Through our inner divine being, true love is uncovered and real happiness and peace are experienced, not as a fleeting moment subjected to time and place, but as something real and permanent within us.

Commitment and love between a man and a woman are also fundamental values and virtues from which the alchemical work begins. When practiced well, and with the aim to live life spiritually, alchemy brings about love not only between the couple, but also the experience of true love, which is detached from any external influences; it resides within the heart and being of the person, bearing compassion, understanding and enigmatic spiritual happiness. Love is a force in itself and with it comes chastity, a force born of love that repels lust.

The consciousness, the essence of our being, gains great strength and illumination through the practice of alchemy, invigorating spiritual yearning and the ability to profoundly observe one’s inner psychology. Mystical and truly spiritual experiences can also sprout from this practice, so that one can become lucid and consciously awake in other dimensions, including the astral plane.

Modern gnosis shines the light on the metaphorical and symbolic language of traditional alchemy, providing the opportunity to experience the awesome potential of one's own true inner reality. Alchemy is the fuel and fire which propels one into the realms of spirituality.
